An Association Advocating for Women and Community (AWAC) is renovating a 31-room, two-storey former motel in Prince George into 30 units of transitional housing with on-site counselling and office support services.
This project is nearing the end of construction, with substantial completion expected in December 2018. It will create 30 new units of low-barrier, transitional housing for some of Prince George’s most vulnerable residents.
M’akola Development Services (MDS) is responsible for the planning approvals process, design and construction team procurement, managing the capital budget, and construction administration.
