Julie takes on complicated, multidimensional projects and organizes them into clear, manageable tasks. Her practice is informed by a strong background in planning policy and research as well as community organizing and engagement.
She has significant experience working in the public and private sector, with previous work as a Planning Intern and Environmental Program Specialist in two Alberta municipalities, and as a Property Manager responsible for a portfolio of over 40 market and non-market housing units.
Julie holds a Bachelors degree in Environmental Studies with a concentration in Sociology from The King’s University. She recently graduated from the Masters in Urban and Regional Planning program at the University of Alberta, where she carried out work on a pan-Canadian study in human rights and planning with the Urban Environment Observatory.
