  • Housing Study
  • Feasibility Study

MDS partnered with the Knox Visioning Society to rework the development parameters for providing affordable seniors housing in the District of Sooke, and as a result conducted a feasibility assessment. The level of care provided is categorized as Seniors’ Supportive Housing (seniors with a higher level of independence) which focuses on: health, housing, support services, and community activities. MDS put forth six recommendations to address the financial viability of the project, additional partnerships, and design/site aspects.
