M’akola Development Services was engaged by Ksan House Society in 2015 to conduct an initial feasibility assessment for the lot of 4622 Haugland Avenue, located in Terrace, BC. A preliminary site concept was developed with considerations towards bylaws, zoning requirements, and the regions Official Community Plan. The proposed multi-family development is 3 storeys and includes 39 units comprised of a mix of one-bedroom, two-bedroom and three-bedroom units with surface parking. The design currently includes space for a common area, though it is undecided what the common area will be used for at this time. The magnitude of this project is contingent upon a number of factors, including rezoning of the lot and securing funding and financing options. The next step will be to solidify the concept, secure funding and financing options and procure the appropriate consultants to move the project forward.
