Mark Christian is an emerging planner with experience contributing to community planning projects across Vancouver Island. He is a recent graduate of the Master of Community Planning program at Vancouver Island University and also holds a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Prince Edward Island. Through his studies and having previously worked with a not-for-profit society, Mark has worked on focused projects related to climate change adaptation, housing development, planning policy and legislation, and applied planning theory to practical projects working with towns and rural communities across Vancouver Island. He values the role communities play in shaping their environment and has led a number of community consultations and stakeholder engagement sessions.
Mark is committed to sustainable planning and development and is looking forward to making meaningful contributions to M’akola Development Services and the communities we serve.
