An Association Advocating for Women and Community (AWAC) renovated 31-room, two-storey former motel in Prince George into 30 units of transitional housing with on-site counselling and office support services.
This project completed construction in February 2019. The development project has created with 30 new units of low-barrier, transitional housing for some of Prince George’s most vulnerable residents.
M’akola Development Services (MDS) was responsible for the planning approvals process, design and construction team procurement, managing the capital budget, and construction administration.
