
Forrest is an emerging urban planner with over one year of experience in development and policy planning. He has worked as a planner for both the City of Edmonton and City of Calgary before joining the M’akola Development Services Teams’ Vancouver Office.
Holding a Bachelor of Arts with distinction in Urban and Regional Planning from the University of Alberta, he has experience in development planning, collaborating and building relationships with multidisciplinary stakeholders, municipal policy development and research in relation to Indigenous considerations, and familiarity with municipal planning review processes.
Forrest knows how important building safe and affordable homes and communities is, and his aptitude for development planning and experience helping develop equity-focused municipal policy make him well-suited to M’akola’s work.
