Holly joins the M’akola team with experience in development approvals, community-based research, and collaborative engagement, which is accrued through widespread academic, professional, and volunteer endeavours. She is keen to be part of this organization that interweaves Indigenous and western knowledge systems in their development and community planning practices.
Holly holds a Master of Community Planning degree from Vancouver Island University (2023), where her thesis explored flood mitigation and the collaboration of First Nations and local governments in the Cowichan Valley. She also completed a Bachelor’s degree in Economics and Public Administration from the University of Victoria (2018).
