Jamie has four years of experience in structural engineering, working in Toronto and Victoria as an Engineer-in-Training. She has contributed to the design and overseen the construction of residential and commercial buildings across BC and Ontario. She has experience developing solutions to multidisciplinary problems while prioritizing clients’ needs, minimizing budgets, and maintaining schedules. Jamie looks forward to using her experience in consulting engineering to support MDS’s projects through construction.
While Jamie’s studies and work experience have fuelled her love of design and sustainable construction, her volunteer work has inspired her passion for the development of inclusive spaces. Jamie looks forwards to working with M’akola to create safe and accessible housing for communities across BC.
Jamie has a Bachelor of Science Engineering with a major in Civil Engineering from Queen’s University in Kingston, Ontario (2016).
