M’akola Developed Services (MDS) worked with the Westcoast Community Resource Society (WCRS) to complete renovations of an existing three-bedroom single family residence into a duplex at 1800 Bay Street in Ucluelet, BC. The renovated units provide second stage transitional and affordable housing, with supports, for families at risk of homelessness and fleeing abuse.

MDS has secured federal and provincial funding for the project, prepared a full proforma including a capital and operating budget, successfully managed the municipal approvals process and procured the general contractor.
