M’akola Housing Society partnered with MDS to build this multifamily housing project in Terrace. The three-storey residential building includes 47 units of affordable housing, with a mix of one-, two- and three-bedroom units available for Indigenous families, seniors, and individuals. Included in the building is a common amenity room on the main floor, a bicycle storage room, and office space for building staff. A playground and amenity area are also available outside of the building for tenants. The building was designed and constructed to BC Building Code Step Code 3 requirements.
