
Kevan is a transformational community development specialist who offers holistic capacity building expertise from 12 years spent with not-for-profit organizations, post-secondary institutions and government teams. His calling is to nurture the well-being of the communities he serves by weaving meaningful connections between people and place.
Drawing from a diverse background in adult education, sustainable development, business, and design – he creates and develops human-centered interventions that make transformational change possible. Throughout his career he has produced organizational strategies and plans, communication and engagement approaches, adult learning programs, community building events and supportive tools that inspire, guide and empower community members.
He holds a Master’s degree in Adult, Community and Higher Education (2021), along with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Development Studies (2013) and a Bachelor of Commerce degree (2011). Beyond formal education, he regularly participates in cultural and nature-based learning experiences that deepen his understanding of himself, others and the world we share.
